Hi All I am a Newbie

Just wanted to say I am a newbie to this site and say hello to you all. I own a Renualt 19i, Its an old car but I have all the mod cons in it and have kept it in perfect condition. I love her to death, She has never let me down and purrs like a kitten. The only thing I have had to have replaced since owning her is my exhaust. But now my driver side electric window wont work and its not fuses because I change every fuse the other day. I would be grateful if anyone could offer any Ideas.

Thanks Dave

welcome

Hi Dave and welcome to the retro site, i have found it to be very helpful with lots of tips to keep these great cars running great.
I am in New Zealand and i have only heard of one other 16v r19 in this country so far.
I have bought bits of the members on this site, and from e-bay.
I am in the process of making my stainless steel intake tube and pod filter,a bit tricky with the vacuum takeoffs but getting there.
cheers and have fun. don't be affraid to ask questions on this site as i have found everyone to be very helpful.
Gary.

My window did the same. Usually driver side as that is the most used. Had to replace the entire electric window mechanism because the cable which is drive by the motor has worn and frayed so the motor could not drive it.

New one from renault is not cheap as i found out
