Hi mate just reading you articles on converting makes it sound simple, I bought mine like it I have to say but with webbers on 9not a massive fan of injection)

We had her out at bedford with lotus on track, she did well there was a clio cup car on slicks...... could push it through the bends obut it must have 50 bhp on me and slicks so on the straights it flew, the seq' box helps them.

Your car looks sorted i was very surprised how well the cars handle on track I am on well battered acb10 tyres but not too much understeer and it feels safe able to take some fast corners flat which is always a laugh.

Who come your selling up new toy?

Pete

car

The car was purpose built as a race car but from a used shell she was built in 1998 by Fives R Us Ltd in sevenoaks, I am the 2nd owner.

She was built as race car then used for sprinting before I bought the car.

Very clean non sunroof shell fully stripped turreted rear for leda shocks and strut brace lowered. Upfront leda coilovers 3way adjustable with adjustable top plates, bespoke ali radiator to allow twin 45's behind grill, remote oil fliter and oil cooler front strut brace, kenlow fan a well sorted set up.

Engine is a 1.8 but the only refernce on it GT 21169 - 16V?
It has meant to have had some head work and cams but this cant be confirmed as the chap I bought the car from on ebay was not forthcoming and I had to wait a couple of weeks for log book to find history.

What I can say is that she goes well we did 128's at snetterton in our first race which we were pleased with
