Retro-Renault welcomes owners, drivers and enthusiasts of all Renaults, particularly those of the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s which we see on the road less and less often. As you can see from reading the club pages we have many members from many countries who own a real variety of models
As you have discovered these forums are open to all and after signing up you are more than welcome to ask questions, join in discussions or post your photos, however the forums are only a small part of the club. We also offer:
Come along and show off your car! Trade parts with other members, ask for technical advice or come along for a chat and a pint at the end of the day!
Many users sign up because of the club's reputation for sound technical advice. Members do not mind giving it but please show some appreciation at the time and we would strongly encourage you to become a FULL MEMBER (see below)
Throughout the year there are many shows and events which club members attend. The main shows take place over the Summer and include French Car Show, World Series By Renault and Retro Show, although there are many others too. You'll hear about them first here along with the chance to get offers such as race track time or VIP passes!
The club members are a sociable bunch and everyone is very welcome to get involved in any way they like - be it getting in touch with a local member to pick up a much-needed part or even hosting your own club meet. Although club members are mostly UK-based we have plenty of members from other countries and we hope the club continues to be popular worldwide.
This is the club asking for support. At the time of writing the club has nearly 2000 registered users but many of these will not be contributing or long-term contributors. The administrative costs of this club are significant and there are many demands on its resources including website hosting and administration, production of membership packs, printing of show stickers, limited advertising and countless other very necessary expenses.
