Bar Butler From Argos

The bar butler from Argos is a home optics device to recreate the pub atmosphere in your own home...this review will focus on the one i recieved fro my birthday today.

Priced at around £30 the bar butler is an imposing sight;

Optics populated - note absinthe...drink of champions!

A manual process - filling your glass

50 ml?

Add mixer and enjoy!

First impressions of the device is that build quality is good...one of the rubber suckers on mine has a manufacturing flaw but this will be cured via file...functionality is otherwise unimpeded.

I'm now approching phase 2 of this review...the tasting session.

TBC...

Well instructions state that you pull the tripod up with your hands but it seems to work better doing it via a glass i agree...more authentic too

Ooo...in picture one you can just about make out my pool ball topped bottle stops resting at the bottom of the bar butler...

Three points:

1) Most bar people will tell you to use your fingers not just push the glass up - safer!

2) Top Tip - Sainsbury's Gin and Vodka comes in lovely bottles with no markings except 'GIN' and 'VODKA'... perfect for that minimalist bar look!

3) Congratulatons!
