Renault multiplug

Well after buying a new genuine fuel pump the last thing i expected was to be travelling up the m1 and for my engine to cut out at 85mph!managed to take a slip road and repaired the fault using a torch, sidecuts, masking tape in a field entrance.

The fault was a crap multiplug! pump came with the wiring and if i moved it around, the pump would prime and then stop, pulled on the wires when the multiplug was connected and saw small sparks inside the plug.

Needless to say the multiplug is now in the bin and ive soldered the wires!
