Halfords Rechargable Twin Fluorescent Lamp
Halfords Rechargable Twin Fluorescent Lamp
Bought one of these on saturday, as the winter draws in, daylight is a valuble commodity for those of us that spend it outside working on the car / cars Originally was going to use it just for my garage as it is battery powered but when removing the old PAS Main feed pipe from UCC yesterday, the light failed me so i pulled this out and got it under the car and could see everything perfectly Cost me £14.99 and imo is well worth the money, it can operate on a single lamp or on both, 3 hours lighting on a single and 1.5 hours on both. Only downside is that the first charge is 20 hours (kinda like a new mobile phone) Its very bright on battery power but can also be mains powered and its even brighter on mains power! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() £15 well spent imo

Really? well i find it perfectly fine at the mo, even more so due to the fact my garage has no power and even directly outside the house, cant park on my side of the street due to double yellows, so running a power lead across a busy road is a no no, and its more than bright enough to use under the car in bad light / night to happily see what i was doing.
Better than a torch as you dont have to hold it to point the beam of light in the direction you are working or try to wedge the torch somewhere, just slide it under with you and it lights up the whole area you are working on.
