CHR customer car: Gentle Bens Clio 16V

Gentle Ben bought a Clio 16V, it was about 20 miles from me. It needed a bit of work and I was the man chosen to do the work.

Anyway I got right to work on it.

First job was to secure the battery, the clamp was missing but I had one so that was fitted





The brake lines under the car were missing the clips in a few places so I fitted new clips







The rear lights were dim so I suspected the earth





cleaned back to bare metal



the nearside, note overspray!



It was then on to the coolant flush, as you can see it had never been done!

Some of the dash bulbs never worked liek the outside temp gauge one so I had to replace them, the clio is a great car to do this job on

I then set about removing the previous owners dodgy ICE wiring
