the journey begins......

Introduction

well as you all probably know, and for those of you that dont, i aquired this vehicle of ebay for the grand sum of £70, as the chap who was selling it was only going to scrap it, so being the nostalgic type of chap i am (cough cough), i decided to save it from the great scrapyard in the sky. To be fair, the chap did say in the advert that it was being sold without wheels, but i didnt really mind, i have a brand new set of alloys ready to go when the time comes.

what does the future hold for it? not too sure at the moment, my first option is to give it to my lady, and try and get into Renaults, but to be honest, i dont think that will work but will try anyway. second option is to keep it for myself, run it for a year or until XIX is up and running (XIX project is coming soon), then the third option is to sell through here!

Car Details
Year, Make & Model:
dunno, 1992 i think
Date vehicle acquired:

It wont come out much further untill you remove the speedo cable, get the cover off under the wheel height adjustment lever (2 screws) and stick your hand in the very small gap and unclip the speedo cable from the dash. Once done you have more movement of the dash and you can unplug all the connectors.

Ive had enough practice unfortunatly, it is a pain but once you have done it once its fairly easy to do. However if you have the hands of an ogre you will struggle, oh you will get cut and scratched.

gawd blimey! just to get the clocks out! jeeeze, lol, i did finally manage to work out the hidden screws under the wheel height adjustment lever, then undone them that was hidden, and eased it over the ledge, which allowed a little more movement, but still couldnt get my hand in, guess i'll to try threading my hand up from the footwell, so does anyone know the score about the dashborad illumination of the speedo, rev counter, etc, with regards to an MOT? cheers chaps!

they are just going to be ordered young man! think it would look suuuuuuuuuperb with a new set of plates on, im thinking along the lines of retro-renault along the bottom, and a renault badge instead of the EU one.

get plain plates, plates with designs are gay and not what you want when selling a car
