Phase 1 19 16V Hatch

Here we have a Phase 1 Hatch. Car was bought on a whim, just wanted something to tinker with. Valvers seem to be that touch rarer now and want something to get me out the way of the misses, her probably thinking likewise. Anyway bought with no tax or ticket. Car was 'running' with the interior...

PM me your address and i'll send you some manifold nuts, i got a bag of 100 here lol

as for the studs, DONT GET THEM FROM RENAULT! unless you want to pay over £45 for them as yes, thats how much they are! it was just under £100 with VAT for all inlet and exhaust manifold studs when i went in, i told them very politely to shove their studs up their arse.

the renault part number is 77 03 027 025 - the stud is M8 x 42

In the end i bought a packet of these - ebay link which are M8 x 37 which are more than up to the job

Hello guys!

I will do an update soon when I get the pics uploaded.

The project hasn't dissapeared, just ran out of steam a little. Picked up a Pug 106 SR minus one TU5J2 lump (white obviously) cheaply so that has diverted my time and money.

But back to renault land now so I can hopefully get a shift on.

I take it the nuts used on the manifolds are M8 then as well?

Is there reason to use genuine renault or would any sort of replacement do?
