The Scottish weather has taken its toll on my R5 RSI with the bodywork becoming more degraded lately. I was intending fixing all that up but the various quotes I’ve had to do the sills/wings/a pillar’s have ranged from expensive to astronomical…so that’s kind of put paid to that idea.

Anyway, up until that point I had been gathering some parts for the 5 as pictured below;

As you can see a spanking powder-coated turbo subframe isn’t to be wasted so the hunt has been on for another R5 shell. Sadly none to be had up this way but a nice diesel Extra van popped up on e-bay….
