Project Concours

Hi everyone this is my project and I think a funny one at that, my job is to restore this poor little Renault 5 back to its former glory not spending more than 500 euro. The car was given to me by my boss (nice guy) and it was originally sold by Michael Sidney & Son Car Sales(where I work) back in 1997 its taught that she’s the only Renault 5 registered in 97’ (in Ireland anyway) it’s got 22,715 miles on the clock and 1 owner from new it’s in good order a few bits need to be sorted out.

1. Exhaust needs sorting its broke somewhere
2. Steering rack boot rubber torn
3. Rear brakes seized
4. Due full service oil plugs air filter etc.
5. Body work needed ,small dent on drivers door and it needs few bits done

Overall to make her like new it need hours and hours of cleaning.
Some are saying I’m a bit mad but hey I love these little cars the more people laugh the more it’s going to drive me to get it done and I will have the cleanest little 5 around costing me no more than 500 euro so I will be calling in the favours and when it’s done I will be putting her back in the showroom in Sidney’s garage.
