Introduction

10/5/2007

Ok so after i had re-built my C1J about a month and a half ago a slightly anoying noise started a kind off ticking noise well after a trip down to bristol to help T.I.B me and my mate went and used the test track hit a nice 130mph, and from then on things went downhill rather quick, the next day it would idle funny and want to cut out ect as i have a 2L gti golf to use aswell i wasnt that bothered (yea right) i left it there to check the damage later!?!

yup a bent valve!!!

so what do i do?!?

do i

1, re-built it yet again knowing the c1j is a good lump but will never be the best/relible engine tuned

2, get a F7P/R my mate Ash (bbracer16valver) keeps going on about cheap useable relible power!

well after i mentioned a willy lump for sale cheap i was £300 pounds lighter!! thanks mate!!

anyway THIS car IS GOING to FCS and as you should all no that that is around 8 weeks away

as off this moment we physically have nothing bar a full 5GTT and a few items in hand for the conversion (about 4!!)

we have got a phat list of parts to grab from all over the UK and other places get rid of another 5GTT taking up the shed space and bring this all together

WISH US LUCK

Looking good mofos but I have just one question:

Why stand the bonnet up on the concrete/gravel when you have patch of grass/earth right next to it?

you know with a clio downpipe you could have used a clio 16V/willy system.
