My Project

I bought this car of ebay very locally after having a quick look around it. I think i got carried away because I basically fell in love with it.

Well as the seller described it won't start. Still haven't got it running but i'm working on that.

Well I got it home and started inspecting.

Bit of light rusting nothing to worry about so I keep going....

hmmm getting worse

Random hole in the roof.

Bumper support

Bit of prodding of the drivers side inner arch revealed....

which developed into.....

So I was depressed!!

So I dropped the oil out and replaced it along with the oil filter, and whipped off the carb which looked like....

after much wrangling I finally recieved a 2nd hand carb and fuel pump which will be fitted on Monday. So updates coming up.

I also bought a welder. I've never welded before so am going to teach myself.
This pretty much exactly what the car is about me learnng new sills on a car I just happen to adore even though its a rotten heap

yep, lots of practice first, you'll just be blowing holes everywhere otherwise.

Pretty much exactly Chris . Bit ambitious for a first project.

If it had been in the summer I would have kept it.

It is a 9 turbo, and it lives, although not in my ownership. Sold it to a guy from Scotland and I got a speeding ticket for it last week so its made it back onto the road!!
