Suggestion: server

For the last couple of weeks this site's been a bit temperamental. Most of the time nothing happens and you keep having to refresh pages. Also if you try and post and it doesn't go through then you have to type it all out again.

I'm guessing it's the fault of the hosting company - are there any other suitable ones out there? Would it cost much to change over?

At the moment it's really frustrating

So lose it, frankly I could send out homing pigeons faster!

I pay my monies *at least* once a year, is there any left over to move to a proper server where we can access the site all the time?

/rant over!

Well I'm offshore most the time and if it's playing up at home (which it is) then there's no hope. I sugggest deleting some of the more dated files - year and over posts/projects and hpoefuly the server space you've booked will run smoother

So what's the cause of the server issues as I can get online ok now at work but at home it's hit and miss, even between posts!

The web browser makes no difference. The thing is its bad hosting, the problems are occurring mainly during peak user times. So it would apper to be bandwith issues at the server providers end.

Like now (just after midnight) i come on and its fine, but during peak hours its a complete mess!!
