Clutch Ratchet - Retro-Renault

Hello. I have a clio 1992 and the clutch ratchet needs changing. I have managed to take off the retaining clip to the left of the clutch pedal and removed the washers, but cant slide the pedal off the ahaft as it gets stuck against the steering rack. I have tried removing the dash but there is so many holding screws havent been able to locate all of them thus far. If anyone can help and direct me in the way to go about this will much appreciate. Thanks

i had this problem with my 19 all i did was pull the shaft over with a screw driver and with abit of tug it came off, it is tight to get out and in but it will came out, tbh i found it have hardly any room to play with, try that it worked for me......
