Removing Energy lump
Drain coolant and oils
Radiator and hoses out Disconnect fuel lines Take out driveshafts Unbolt exhaust Remove earths Disconnect loom connections Unplug coil lead Cambelt off Inlet manifold and carb off Undo head bolts Withdraw cylinder head Unbolt engine mounts Bottom end out Is this more or less right? Anything I've forgotten? And is there a better order to do it in than the way I've got it above? Last edited by Gentle Ben; 21st October 2006 at 01:18 PM. |

Forgot to say, I've got someone wanting the cylinder head and I also have no engine hoist, so I'm gonna have to do it half-and-half if ya get me.

Well I've disconnected the gear linkage at the other end beneath the 'box. Gaitor off and took the nut and bolt off.
Suspension struts are off also, two hub bolts and two top mount bolts, easy. Didn't think it would be though. How do you release the driveshafts from the hubs? And where the hell is the fecking rollpin? |
