renault 19 16v modded - Retro-Renault

I own the above vehicle flip paint 17" voodoo alloys lowered with hill power head ecu etc etc but it has started to push the water back through the header bottle no sign of water oil mix but I still suspect head gasket can anyone tell me about the supplementary elec water pump and whether or not I would need special head gasket ie thicker by the way its a chammy bought off e-bay around the blackburn area aug last year so if anyone has any history on the car it would be much appreciated

headgasket or a dodgy cap on the coolant bottle with a badly airlocked cooling system.

at last someone with a bit of knowledge prepared to help instead of making silly comments,for neal and anyone else wanting to make comment I am going to try and save another of these cars as I think they are worth it,as I already own two perfectly standard fuego,s,a safrane a 1958 sunbeam rapier,I thought I would own something out of the ordinary this I think fits the bill I know it,s not perfect I have already had the wheels refurbed fitted good front seats new steering wheel have got a panel beater/sprayer on board so thanks for the photo,s and the chav comment but I thought this forum would help?? I am now here to be impressed by everyones knowledge of the marque

I wasnt having a dig I was just asking for help but so far only one person has even attempted to answer some of my queries do I take it that you or another member looked at the car and actually took the photos, the car was traded for a skyline to a nice and helpful guy called Dee,who I think left the carton but anybody who can shed any light on the cars history or answer any of my queries,this again would be much appreciated

OK...

first thing, that sounds like the head gasket. you would not necessarily see the water and oil mixing if the head gasket goes, it depends where exactly it's gone.

elec auxiliary water pump... meant to keep coolant flowing round the head for about 10 mins after the engine is switched off. if its working, great. if it's not, no big deal, join the club.

no reason why you'd need a thicker head gasket, why do you ask?

And as for teh pics, i got them from teh seller when it was up on ebay as i was seriously considering buying it

often depending on how much heads have been skimmed a thicker head gasket is required I have tried contacting hillpower to find out what has been done but have never recieved a reply.Was there anymore info on my car apart from the pics.As far as the auxilliary pump is concerned it runs constantly when connected
