Ignition Key Barrel Removal
I couldn't quite see how to get the wires out the back of the barrel when I was removing it from the chammy. I want to put the lock set into my hatch, but would rather not hack wires if necessary.
Was I being stupid and is there just a simple plug on the back? I couldn't get it out. Cheers

there is about 3 inches of wire from the barrel, then a couple of 2 pin connectors...

turn the key to the arrow aswell to get it out

to alot of previous non enthuiast owners its just a mid 90's hot hatch so they get neglected like any other mass produced effort!
