Which cams for E6J engine?

I'm looking for cams for my 1.4 E6J engine.. ..I've found 2 companys that have cams for my engine - these are Catcams and Dbilas. Prices are almost the same around 300€ (₤200). I'm using my car as daily driver and for autoslaloms, so I need as much torque as possible and linear power delivery (2500-7000RPM). hich cams should I buy? I think that 271" will work, but I'm not an expert so I need your help..

CATCAMS:

DBLIAS are regrinds which are some one elses old cams with the cam heel ground back to increase lift and some re-profiling of the nose, not the best for good valve train life.

THe 271's will work but the idle will not be very smooth and it will stutter a bit, it will be made worse by the fact you have carbs, so it will need a good deal of revving to get the power.

TBH I would rather sort the head out on it first.

On this engine that is in my car, I've already ported the head (first time doing it):

At home, I've got another engine, which will be modified. On the first head I've just smoothed sharp edges and the finish on ports wasn't that good, so second time I'll be more precise and radical The combination of head porting and cams, with another a bit bigger carb (Weber 32/34) I think I could be at 100HP mark

Would 262's Catcams be better? would OEM springs be good enought for this cams? I was planing on buying new OEM springs, since the spage engine has done arround 80k miles... and they aren't expensive.

the standard 32TLDR and DECENT porting you can get 100bhp out of them with everything else stock, you just need to rev it a tad.

I'm reving it to 7000RPM, but after 6000RPM there isn't much going on.. ..so thats why I'm thinking on sharper cams

In Slovenia there was Clio A 1.4 Cup (in 1994 and 1995).. ..engines were slightly modified - lightned and balanced bottom eng (cranck shaft with rods and pistons), heads were lowerd (skimed up to 3mm), head were ported in port matched and EPROM was changed - they used SPI, beside that intake and exhaust manifold and other parts were standard.. ..best prepaird cars had arround 105-110HP, and they were reved to 8k RPM (but engines were for one year, than you had to change half of it )

I was searching for some race part (used), but there aren't any Some cars has been sold, other dissapeard

Mine was doing over 8krpm and had over 200k miles on the clock. Standard cam as well, Amber recalls over 130 on the clock in it, I used to chase soneji around in his and we would regularly be doing over 120 in them.

Theres clios over here with standard bottom ends etc and SPI getting around 100bhp with the stoick limiter (6.5 - 6.8krpm on the tacho) in place.
