idle is this normal? - Retro-Renault

Hi, my idle only drops to normal (ish) when I am still. If I have my clutch in and moving it will stay at 1500rpm. Then when still it eventully settles to 1000rpm which is still high and I don't know why it's doing it. New CTS, cleaned ISCV all pipes leak free.

Maybe my ISCV is shafted?

Its normal, road speed sensor.

ahh right cheers, what could the high idle be, it stays around 1000-1100, is that most likely a leak?

Is the engine cold when it does this?

I don't know if it is normal or not but mine will idle at about 1300 or so on a cold morning but then drop to about 800 when the engine has warmed up.

When it's cold mine idles high yeah, think that's normal too. not sure about 800, maybe that's a bit low?
