Gearbox/Diff mods

Whats been done here? If anything.

It was posted by that clio turbo bloke who seems to have disappeared and posted along with the pic of the diff clip plate mod pic



This is a standard box



I can't see anything obvious but there must be some relevance to it being posted

bare case looks like a diesel/jc5 as the bearings are bigger on it

I would imagine stock jc5 or modded jb1/jb3 to take the bigger bearings

I thought the bearing diamters were the same...its the type i.e one has parallel races, and t'other has taper rollers.

as far as I was aware both have the parrallel (balls) but the bearing dia was different (extra ball), I can't say the last one I bothered to look at in detail though tbh.

Dunno for sure, someone buy both and break em

100% one uses taper, and t'other uses roller bearing...cant mind for sure, but im pretty certain JC5 uses taper.

It would appear people have misunderstood my question.

Theres 2 pictures of a modified gearbox, the lower one you can easily se whats been done, i want to know what makes the top one different from a standard box

but I was right on the different sized bearings, so Craig in the most mature way possible, na na, na na, nananana

Chet I already said its either a JC5 standard or a modded JB1/JB3 to take the bigger bearing.
