engine hunting
hi i have just fitted a 1800cc 16v reno 19 engine in to my volvo 340 and have a little problem that when on idol and at any rpm the engine hunts, but if i leave to idol it hunts that bad that it cuts out.
i have replaced the lamda, coolant temp sensor, idol control valve and still no luck ANY IDEAS??? thanks lee |

TPS would be the next guess, it might be slighty off.

is there any marks where it was screwed on before? like two circle srew marks? always helps me

make sure the connectors in right, if its not it defaults to a reading of 50% throttle.
Also you can move the TPS arm on its own, see if that alters it. But it could be quite a few things.
