Smokey Megane td - Retro-Renault

Hi all. I have a 96 P Plate MeganeRXE 1.9td. A couple of weeks ago she started smoking from the exaust whilst accelarating ive had a look around the engine and found oil in the pipes leading from the turbo to the intercooler. Does this mean the turbos knackered or is there something else i can look at? a used turbo is around £200, and with a baby on the way i need to save as much as possible. Any help would be grately appreciated.

clean the pipes out and the intercooler, check the 1 way valve on the breather pipes.

Often its that that dumps the oil into the pipework.
