clio 1.8 16v

steering rack and column do i need to get one off a valver or williams or are there alternatives also valver gear box do i need to get one off a valver or is 19 etc ok.

rack gaiters the same on 1.3's etc, the 2 gaiters (both sides) are like a fiver from ECP

column any ps clio mk1

19 box will go but it might not hav ethe top mounts drop link thingy bolt hole above the shaft

im getting 2.5 cm play in the steering what could be the problem rack etc?.

box etc....

right guys more technical needed please got a gear leaver and linkage fitted it and works but now on thegear box the gear selecta in very stiff pushes its self up in to reverse and i have to get under the car and pull by hand to dissengage ive had it running in every gear and all works

also noticed this any help will be good ive put the trolley jack underneath and tried too pull the box up too shut the gap and its lifted the hole engine and gear box up at the same time

if you close that gap up with a troleey jack you'll be a rich man as you'll have gained power over metal without heat

the gaps there as its not 16V box
