O/S Indicator Fault
The clio has developed a fault whereby the front o/s indicator bulb will not flash and will cause the relay to switch at double speed.
However what is quite strange is that the fault will go away and re-appear randomly. When the car is working normally, the o/s front indicator bulb is fine and the relay switches at normal speed. I have replaced the bulb and it made no difference. Is this a faulty relay or a bad earth? |

dodgy connection or broken wire somewhere on that bulb circuit.
relay will always switch quick when a bulb is blown/missing, that's what lets you know one of your indicator bulbs has gone.

He says he already replaced the bulb. Could be a dodgy new one i suppose but that's unlikely!

its the gay connector onthe indicator loom, itsa abotu 6 inches back, who knows why its there, obviously they had to many plugs and needed to use them up, common issue on them.

Is it that it works loose or corrodes? |

Hey bro i just fixed mine, was doing exactly the same as yours, pulled out the lens and bulb and cleaned the bulb holder with emery paper and a squirt with electroclean and now good as new, albeit a bit rusty and looking for a better one.but works just fine now.
Gazza.
