Hoisting point(s)

What can I use to hoist a bottom end and gearbox out?

Clutch cable eye on the bellhousing can be used I take it, and a second man just make sure it doesn't swing about too much?

the box eye and what are you using a chain or a rope?

Chain slip a headbolt through the link and screw it into the head and lift. Tow rope and hook I'd wrap it under the engine and hook back onto the rope.

A strap with a hook on it.

Got the engine raised, but found that there's a tether on it still, a cable running through the bulkhead that goes into the engine through the dogbone mount? How do I get it off?

I assume DKR? Theres a metal clip through the mount that holds it in, pull the clip and the cable will come out, I greased it (I think) when you were up so won't pose a problem.
