Curb weight of 94 Savannah Estate
Hi there,
I cant seem to find the curb weight of a 94 Savannah TD LS Estate anywhere, I'm possibly getting one second hand but would like to know if it will be heavy enough that I wont be able to tow a 75O kg trailer without upgrading my license. So does anyone know? Thanks for your help in advance. Nick |

Cheers "The T.I.B", sounds good.
The owners have said its no speed demon but I'm not looking for anything sporty, its going to be a work horse for me and my kayaking buddies as a paddle wagon. So it needs to be reliable, economic and easy to repair with limited skills and tools. Does anyone have a haynes manual to find out the kerb weights? Cheers, Nick |

I have one but it'll be tomorrow before I can give you the weights for sure.
At a guess it'll be 1200 - 1300kg's though.

Well with a 750kg trailer, to go over 2.5 tons would mean the car would have to be more than 1750kg...!

Thats what I was hoping, being able to take 4 boats on the roof, 3 inside and another 6 or seven in a trailer will be a bonus for my uni club and me.
Lets hope the 2nd hand one I'm off to see in a min isn't a total rust bucket. Its the TD estate I'm looking at, a 94 model. Thank you all. Thats awesome news. |

Well there was one patch of rust under the drivers side door, but its small and I've dealt with worse on a metro. The rest of the rust was around the bottom of the windows mainly in the corners, and thats cosmetic only really so I shall be off to halfords for touch up paint and when I get it home I'll get started with an angle grinder and body filler.
But for £495 I can't complain. Its a good runner and while not exactly fast, it was pretty nippy in the lanes. |

That is quite fucking light for an estate actually!
Bet it'd shift quite well with a decent 16v engine in it.
