it's an 8mm square thing and it's in Halfords tool section

If you mean where is the sump plug, it's on the bottom of the sump, where else would it be?

I know it sounded a stupid question lol Just i found the square thing and thought that couldnt be it but typically with this f*cking car it is.

Its so close to completion but without transport i cant get to halfords to get that tool, so im going to have put the work off for another weekend. Cheers for confirming it though Neal.

So tempted to just flog this thing as it is.

Also how much oil do these take as ive not got the haynes at current.

I've used a wide flat-blade screwdriver before now to get the sump bolts undone, so don't just give up

Door bar didnt work unfortunatly neither did any of the spanners i have from the spanner set so its back to halfords.

What makes it worse is ive made a shocking booboo which is going to have caused me far more work i imagine. Time aswell as patience is running out with this thing.

whats the booboo?

Come on mate, keep it together. Just chill, get the tool when you can and finish the job.

The booboo was done off the back of being stressed from the no joy with the rest of the car.

Its such a dumbar*e mistake its whats made it all the more frustrating basically i setup a battery with jumpleads out the car to turn it over just the once on the starter to ensure things were ok and wired the termials up the wrong way and think ive shorted/f*cked something somewhere now.

More fun and games. Great.

Precisely!

Im just going to have to look through the loom i guess nothing popped something smoked i think. Im just tired, and annoyed and fed up with the car. Its just as it gets so close to being completed i go and do something retarded like that.

Tempted to just stick it up as it is and get rid of it quick as i need to sell it before i move and times running out untill that happens.

I'd be surprised if there's any major electrical damage, a few blown fuses yeah but that's what they're designed to do.
