Hello all!
After a long time I'm with another need for help from you experts guys. Been sorting out the motors of the electric side mirrors, and it's all fine. Actually, I thought I had the solution, the command switch. New one, no luck!!! Disconnected it, it's an 8 pins plug and haynes says feeding on B4 and earth at A2. Now, the plug looks like this: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ One would think the feed (+12V) should sit at one of the tops, and from there we could read the rest of the plug. The point is, it does'n't...! It's on one of the middle pins! The only time I let someone touch my R19-E7j was on a respray while back... Or is Haynes wrong? Anyone has the pinout for the switch's plug, it would be much apreciated.? |

the 12V goes tot he middle piuns as when you rotate the switch theres a metal arm on the thing that rotates and makes contact to whichever side needs moved and then also when the joystick itself is moved.

Thanks for your fast reply, Chris. Meanwhile I had the chance (with a friend's help) to measure continuity when it's actuated and no luck, so the switch is bad. My fear was that apart from that, I could be having the system miswired. Now I just have to give the new one back, cause it's bad. Thanks!!! |
