Car Butchery

Right, before I take an angle grinder to these bits:

And do irreversible damage, is there anything I need to think about/bear in mind?

Never done anything so drastic on a car before, I don't wanna go and fuck my baby up just because I didn't take a few minutes to consider the consequences!

TBH it was inevitable that you would have to grind away at something sooner or later, and i'll wager that there will be a good bit more grinding to be done before that engine is in.

So stop being a fairy and just get on with it :P

i would make a removable slam panel. chop a section out neatly, then chop a slightly bigger section out of one in the scrappy so it overlaps and you can bolt it back into position.
