terrible knocking
mainly a questionfor dan,
were all my engineand box mounts and jointsetc cause i gota terrible knocking frompassenger fornt somewhere mainly if you tap throttle and make car jerk slightly. its driving me insane.ps it was fine before thebox was fitted

i did say that the engine mount looks a bit dodgy! i picked the best of the 2 mate.

no problem mate i will investigate a bit more i was not that bothered about it i just kept hearing this knocking sound from her and the vibration throgh the steering wheel was annoying me

best bet is to replace it mate.
your mount that came off was completely fecked aswell! ripped almost entirely inhalf!

that maybe so but it never knocked before lol.

i got a feeling something is gone in behind one of the wheels or the outlet manifold/exhaust is smashing against the power steering rack because i can feel the knocking really badly through the steering, infact fuck it

anyone want to buy it seriously i am going to get rid of it i am just going to buy a new car i am getting sick of buying cars the break on me every 5 minutes and it no longer seems viable to spend so much money on them.

its getting worse evrytime i drive it now its so bad that its shaking the steering wheel to i had a look and cant see any thing adrift i am flabbergasted lol

it will be mount i had same prob till i changed my box, the mount would of lead to the dimise of the box though so dont drive it hard til its fixed!
