Heating

Now its coming in cold i've noticed my heater is crap. If i leave the engine running for 10-15mins in the morning before i set off it will be nice and warm and guage on 1/4 to half. However if i set off to work (7miles) straight away the temp guage only just lifts off the bottom when i arrive and it doesnt get hot. Are these poor heaters or is there something wrong?Cheers

I had that problem in my old blue valver, temp never got off the bottom unless you stood still.

There was no thermostat installed.
