Let us clear some things, please.
I can make a engine swap F7R to megane coupe shell?
I can use GB engine mount and back engine mount from 1.6.
For right engine mount I must use R19 16v mount and metal bracket?
Will AC compressor be in the way for bolting bracket and engine mount?

If I want to have AC I must figure it out mysef and than I need different brackets, PS pump ....

I do not want to have AC.
Will it be wrong if I unbolt 2 pipes from compressor, and leave them opened. But compressor is driven by the belt so compressor will be running.

I seriously respect your help
Simon

yes you can

yes you can

yes you do

yes it will it has to go. the 19 layout is totally different.

The megane and clio set up is the same, both are mounted fromt he cambelt cover though

the compressor doesn't run, the pulley spins but for the AC to be acvitated an electronic magnetic clutch is used. When the AC isn't in use the pulley 'freewheels'

If I remove AC compressor, the pulley stays on?

Or I have to use shorter drivebelt?
How about automatic tesnsioner? Will be any problem if AC is removed?

no if you remove the compresor then you need another belt.

The 19 mount means removing totally the current set up as nothing will fit.

I removed AC compressor

Lot more space to bolt engine mount. I like it.

Will drivebelt be tensioned enough without AC compressor?

Tnx Chris

p.s. I`ll give you a brake until I get that metal plate from Renault ...

Hi

If you are trying to use the same belt then I think it will be too long, you must find a shorter non a/c belt.

I figured it out, that I need shorter belt, but now automatic tensioner is the problem here....

Can I use some other manual tensioner? From R19/Clio 16v?

get a shorter belt and try it, and test to see how tensioned the belt is, if not id then look at changing tensioners if the diameters differ
