Bilstien suspension struts

Would they fit the 19? Are they any better?

What is the point of me asking this?

not if they dont fit it wont.

As far as I'm aware Bilstein don't make any shocks for the 16V, only the non-16Vs

Bilsteine do shocks for volvo 400s, not sure how similar the suspension setups are between the two cars (most of the 400 volvo stuff seems to be renault oriented).

Well looking at two pictures the top suspension bolts are in different planes - the volvos are verticle, the 19s appear to be horizontal across the car, but maybe you could get around that?

Are you lot sure about the Bilstein Shocks that euro are selling? I spoke to them the otherday and they told me they've stopped selling the BOGE/Sachs shocks and only do the Bilstein for the 19 16v? :s

yep, totally. they have them listed wrongly.

I ordered 2 of the boge 16v shocks from them, as I already knew there were no Bilstein standard 16v shocks. they were out of stock of the boge ones so they changed my order and sent me the bilstein ones, which were non 16v items.

I then had to call them numerous times to convince them and their 'renault expert' guy that the 16v shocks are different to the non 16v and the bilsteins are listed wrongly for the 16v.

finally when they got more stock of the boge ones they compared them side by side, agreed they were different, swapped mine for me and said they would correct their database which obviously they haven't done.
