Won't start........ 19 16v Ph2
Car turned over as normal, but I didn't leave it long enough to fire. Tried again, but this time nothing.... no clicking from the starter either. All lights are fine, battery charged, fuel pump priming and bump starts fine.
I'm not sure if it's a faulty alarm, starter, key or something else electrical. Bit vague I know, but anyone know of any common faults. Also, a real silly question..... where is the starter!? |

starter is at the back and the solenoid wires probably fallen/broken off on it.

Haven't had time to do anything with it yet, but it now seems to have a mind of it's own. Sometimes it'll start fine, the next time nothing. Headlights don't dim either when turning the ignition key.... and now the heater blower won't work.... can't imagine they're connected though.
Would it still be a loose wire on the solenoid or something else? A mate is looking at it tomorrow and i've supplied him a new starter..... just don't want it fitted if the existing is fine so I can get a refund. Cheers people. |

If it's not come off it could well be a poor or corroded connection.
Heater blower is either the multi-plug behind the controls or the rheostat, both are quite easy to fix. |
