19 16v Air temperature sensor
On our '95 16v is the air temperature sensor the 1 on the end of the inlet manifold on the drivers side end near the alternator? GSF dont list a new one so I'm guessing there a main dealer part only? Anyone have any idea how much they cost?

yes that's the one.
don't know how much they'd cost from the dealer, best estimate is £A LOT. just put a wanted post up, someone will have one. or get one from the scrappy, I expect its the exact same senor on clios, lagunas, meganes etc. |

unplug the mofo as this makes the ecu run it lean, can't recal the exact temp it base sets to but its quite high. Anyway if its fooked it'll run a lot better with it unplugged.

anyway chris the problem we've got is the car is running very very rich.
So far changed Lambda sensor Coolant temeprature sensor Plugs Leads Rotor arm Dizzy cap Air filter In the post is new ECU, new injectors, new fuel rail, new pressure regulator. Ive got an air temp sensor & a good cold start injector. Something is pushing buckets of fuel in. I'll find it 1 way or another!!!! Cats also getting very hot, garage thinks the carbon from unburnt fuel is clogging it. So, got a decat pipe on its way. Now done 900 quid in 3 weeks on this car. When its 100% it'll be as good as new.
