Trip computer problem

Hi all, im new so forgive me if this has been answered somewhere allready!
I have a phase 1 19 16v and the trip computer permanently reads ---- or 15.5g.
Anyone got any ideas on how to reset it???? (I have allready tried turning the nob!)

disconnect the battery, reconnect it and the digi dash should flash, ignition on and turn the trip meter knob to the right.

Tryed disconting battery and turning trip knob but still no joy any more iders. help !!!!!

the plug for the reset switch might not be in from when someone has had the dash display out.

Trip computer

Have turned reset nob clockwise and display goes to 0.0m then back to 15.5g. Have had clocks out and it looks all there and pluged in
