Driveshafts and bearings

I think i remember reading somewhere that its a bad i dea to have a car resting on its wheels without the driveshafts in as the bearings get fucked

Any truth in this?

makes some sense, but tbh as long as you're not rolling the car around all over the place and its just standing there, I reckon it would be fine.

I certainly didn't worry about it with mine when the driveshafts were out

if for example you towed the car with no driveshafts, then yes I think the bearings would get fucked, quickly. that's if the wheel hub/wheel didn't work its way out of the bearing and off the car first

they will be fine unless you tow it about with you.

It wouldn't be moving, just resting and even at that only for a short while
