random thinking
would a R21 turbo engine fit in a 19 16v? i know nothing about the 21's tbh, also has it been done? and what would the stats likely to be if it was/has been done?

Its a completely different engine, to get one in would be as much work as fitting something much more powerful/reliable/whatever you want from it

or megane engine with megane management much better
Also how can it be scary in the slightest? I would imagine if it had maybe 3/4 times the power then it might get interesting but stock 175bhp from the turbo engine (although with very impressive torque output) its hardly gonna scare your gran never mind any decent driver.

yeah its lighter and handles better as it doesn't have the whoel engine swinging away ahead of the front wheels but its hardly gonna be scary.
Scary would be 1000bhp area. 500bhp is perfectly fine if its done right, i.e. not on a 1.2 running 4 BAR
