8mms a bit much to be grinding off really...

I think you need to get som,eone who knows what they are on about to look at it. your descriptions are the usual missleading ones, a worse surface won't affect balance for example but the ride will be worse.

afaik, corsas use an offset around the 50 mark and a spigot hole of 56,6mm, so they prolly wont fit..

vx use 49mm offset.

The newer shape meganes etc use 49mm as well though.

offset shouldn't be more than 45 and, as they are aftermarket, it's worth asking him to measure the spigot hole

Alloy wheel fitments and pcd's.

MOMO arrows... there was a blue phase 2 hatch near where I lived as a student which wore a set of those, I always thought it looked ace.

Just thought i'd let you guys know that i have fitted some team dynamics wheels to the 19.
They have an offset of 35 and give me plenty of clearence on the 'Hi-spec big brakes'
I don't like the wheels but they were the best of a bad bunch in the particular size i needed!!!
