cv joint

hi guys and girls back in to the swing of things now back from holiday ive done the cv on the near side but the 3 ball ,ball joint which is gearbox end is nakered need to get a new one anyone got any part numbers also how do i fit the driver side cv boot thanks alot chris

you mean the boot or the tripod joint itself?

sorry, misread that.

to fit the outer gaiter you need to remove the inner tripod joint plus the weight thing in the middle of the shaft (if it has one)

right so its outer gaiter on the drivers and the inner joint on the neareside?

the joint itself is nearly 80 quid a full n/s shaft is less than that.

The drivers side, use a cone to slide the gaiter on

cheers chris got them both done pics on project report but this one broke one of the ends came off and all the rods went everywhere can this be used without all 3 ball joints in place ?
