Renault scenic 1999 Central locking NEED HELP
Hello !
I bought this Renault Scenic a while ago and everthing was going fine and suddenly one day while driving my car I felt a jerk but car was still driving ok. I drove back home and parked it. After that the central locking did not work and card did not start as well. I called RAC services. They found that main cord from battery was loose and came off. He tried many triks to start the car but failed. Finally he called his head office and got back to me with a four digit code which and showed me how to input it in the car in order to bypass the immobilizer and made my car start. It been 2 months I am starting the car with the same code. It's good thing that atleast I can drive my car but putting that code in the car is a pain in ... I have tried to re-sync plip as it explains on the forum but it doesn't work! Also while going through service history a saw a piece of paper from Renault Garage Wednesbury regarding Key Fob (says temporary fix) and it recommendation it says (replace roof reciver) I bought a pair of Key foB and roof receiver, tried to Sync it did not work as well! I called Renault its a rip off! (very expensive) I called another services to permanent bypass its going to cost £80 Can anyone suggest what should I do? |

it does work and you need to use the original fob to do it again.
