clio exhaust

Am I not understanding something about the Clio exhaust or is it just a totally fucking stupid design?

couple of exhaust hangers at the back box, then absolutely no support whatesoever until it connects to the manifold at the front. No wonder whenever you see one on the road the exhaust is hanging down in the middle looking like its about to fall off.

Idiotic.

even my 205 was like that, but then it was a straight through pipe from the manifold hanger at either end, and no suport anywhere up the middle.

The more I look at it, the more I think it's absolutely insane.

Ive used galvanised steel wire to hold it up at the 90 degree bend in front of the axle now.

utter joke.

The Williams did revise this stupid flaw, by having an additional hanger just after the cat.
Which sorts out all of the low hanging exhaust issues.

I've just noticed one of these on my RSI and it looks factory fitted.
