RT heater not getting warm
This is my old RT, now owned by my dad.
The heater has never worked despite the cooling system being flushed out. Last month the head gasket went which we repaired on the driveway and have flushed it several times again so the water is crystal clear now and its running spot on. Flaps appears to be working fine so any ideas? It just gets slightly warm so i'm saying heater matrix but my dad thinks it may be something else? |

air lock in the matrix?
squeezing the pipes might help?

Well i'm almost certain its the matrix;
When i had it (pre HG going) it was very cool despite the dash gauge rocketing up and down. Since doing the HG its had several flushes and still no heat - if it was an airlock we'd have caught it on one of the flushes i'd say. Matrix though - thats not going to be fun! Hopefully he can put up with it until i get my rsi roadworthy then i'll take a day out for us to sort it in one go. Soneji, you made it home ok then? You've got to lower that micra for sure mate! Must have handled a bit better with the F7 in the back? lol |

Believe it or not your right I found it slightly better with the extra weight in the back, felt a lot less twitchy over bumps at speed and corners too felt more confident! As confident as you can be with a few 100kilos of iron unsecured riding behind your missus!
  The pads were an advisory on its last test a few months ago, it really showed after picking it up! Still managed to pull a respectable speed all things considered.  (shaved off time on the tomtom too)Still waiting on her buying her own bloody brake pads tho, the brakes ain't much better with it all out now either.
