Yeah i think you do if i remember rightly, and undo the bolts the hold the bonnet on as they go through the wing. To be honest, i wouldn't say it's a lot of work, its just very fiddly and will take you a while thats all.

Remember, patience is a virtue!!

Should take about 20 minutes.

Remove the wheel arch liner
Undo the two 10mm nuts inside the wing
Undo the 10mm bolts you can see along the top of the wing and loosen (don't necessarily remove) the two 13mm bonnet hinge bolts.
Undo the bumper on that side and pull it away slightly (remove the whole bumper if you prefer). Also undo the grille part on that side.
Loosen or remove the side skirt
Remove the indicator

Refitting the the reverse of removal

Just pull the 5 clips to remove them, and push them back in. Sometimes a large screwdriver or claw hammer can help. (the bottom clip you can actually push out from behind )

i only managed to get three out of five off, the other two pulled throught the liner hole :-)

no damage to liner or clips and once it was off the clips were removed okay and re-used, it was just the build up of crap round them that stopped them coming off

one other thing, if you have mudflaps on the wing you need to take this off to get to the front of the sideskirt

The cabriolet wing is different to all other 19 16vs, as is the lack of side skirts

cabby wings not welded at the top of the sill ,when the wing liner is removed if you dig all the muck and crap out you find a stud with a 10mm nut that sticks straight up of the top of the sill.the (weld) along the sill at the bottom of the wing is just mastic to try and stop water ingression.
