cant get the reverse lights to work i take it theres some kind of switch on the gearbox does anyone know where bulbs are good cheers guys

switch is on the side of the gearbox, next to the driveshaft on the passenger side. Has a green connector.

switch is working fine as tested with multi meter so must be wiring or something else will check tmrw cheers mate

switch is ok does it run to a relay before it goes off to the back checked all relays just as precausion cheers?

right someone had cut in to the switch wire which lights up the lamps so had to rewire back to the loom in the boot all is great now but i have now lost my rpm dose anyone have any ideas is this measures by the loom all signal off the speedo cable i swaer this car dont want to be mots cheers

Good question. There is MOT info on the internet.
I'm sure it will be the old rule, if you have it, it must work (some cars don't have rev counters). Therefore just tape over it

yep, i misread it as 'speedo' at first then realised it was rev counter
