whats up with my car

me 19 16v is still not starting every day.

i decided i would try solve the non starting problem and change the plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm. it ran smoother i thort all was good,

went out today after it had been raining and would not start, this seems to a regular thing with the car if damp or wet it wont start will turn over but not fire, theres not water in the plug wells it has fuel well its priming any way and spark. when dry its fine.

i pulled down the interior light so seem if any water, it was damp around the areialcould this affect it the light circuit was dry
please help

the leaking roof shouldn't affect the starting although it could very slowly run down the battery i guess.

Are you getting good voltage across the battery and it's still not starting?

Could be a failed ignition module I suppose, or wiring on the blink

crank sensor is easy and yes well worth checking.
it's held onto the top of the gearbox bellhousing by two special bolts, don't lose these
Also check the grey plug 6 inches down the wire
