Pipe looks a bit bent.

Think you can get up to 200 bar of pressure inside so sticking sealant on the out side is not going to keep it in.

i did check the pipe when i swopped the seal, did not see any cracks in it, but will give it a good clean up this weekend and recheck it.

R19 16S it does look a little bent to me too, so perhaps its not making a perfect seal?

I certainly wont be buying a new pipe though, just checked dialogys and they are £125 + VAT for a new one!!

i tried tape, when it first started leaking, it went straight thru and i used 4 layers !!! the tape i used was stuff i had left over when my bottom hose sprung a leak at the usual spot, it sealed the hose fine (has been replaced when i had the engine out)

I was thinking of trying some of that PTFE tape on the thread of the pipe and maybe some sort of silicon sealent on the outside ?

I reckon the pipes cracked.

the metal pipe has a stub then the o-ring, won't matter if its bent or not.

Dialogys give you the size of the O rings I think.

77 03 065 106 JOINT7,6X10,8X1,6 ,64 1442 x 1

8X1.6 MM for this one.

Replace the O ring and have a good look for a crack on the pipe.

Already did that R19 matey, first thing i did was change the seal ( O ring ) for a new one.

dialogys gave me the same number and i bought two of them lol but on mine it says this - 77 03 065 106 WASHER PAS and does not give an option for differing sizes nor did the parts counter at renault ask for a size.

Got my dialogys in French at home and english on my laptop.
Lot of stuff missing in english.

Surprised they sell just the o ring.

Anyhow if you have allready repaced it, it must be a scrach or a crack.

Or a wrong sized o ring.
