Hello everyone! Excuse me for my english... I am a 21 nevada owner which has the 1.8L engine 95hp. I don't want to sell it because I'll 10000 more for a new car which would be smaller. I just want a faster engine. Which one do you recommend me that it fits? The younger it is,the better for me.I like the TXI 2.0L engine but I think it doesn't fit,am I right? Thanks in advance

the engine you have in there is the transverse F series engine, the longitudally mounted J series 2 litres will not fit like you say.

The 1.8 RSI 113bhp multi point injection version of your engine will fit though as will the 16V 1.8 and 2 litre units.

Your english is just fine as well.

F and J is the position of the engine in comparison with the vehicle's destination? When you say 2 litre engines, we can include the williams engine,or to say generally the F engines if I am correct?

So, if I find one of these engines complete with gearbox, wiring loom, CPU etc and maybe an ac pump it would fit as it is? Even the latest Clio sport 2.0L engine? These engines stand where mine does?

the old 16V engines will go straight in.

the latest F4R's will take a lot of work and effort to get in and running, unless you go aftermarket engine management.

Steer clear the Cliosport engine, they use nasty fly-by-wire throttles and are generally a pig to fit anyway.

Williams engines.... don't know if you can get them over in your part of the World but over here they're damn expensive with about 700-800 GBP being a typical price.

The most cost efficient upgrade would be the F7P 1.8 16v unit.

I know the earliest once were cable throttle but even then they'll still be a nightmare to plumb in electrically!
