On my travels today I happened about this

[img:480:640:5725fb3e3d]http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/8984/pic4lj.jpg[/img:5725fb3e3d]

Now being the slim athletic guy you all know me as I amost walked straight past but something called me back and made me take a second look.

Carelessly picked it up and bought it.

Now on closer inspection some of you might think that I have got a bad deal, something might be missing? hu haa, I had the last laugh, I managed to secure a deal with my fellow shift worker to sell half the purchase to him for a full 50p

After lifting the lid, I noticed some potential cloth wrecking spillage seeping from the side of the scone, this had to be remedied first
I hitched up the hood to take a look at the damage inside. I was dismayed to spot that it was running very low on jam, (hence the £1 for 2 markup possibly?)

[img:640:480:5725fb3e3d]http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/8941/pic8qs.jpg[/img:5725fb3e3d]

On complete opening of the lush teatime snack I noticed a dark area to the right through the rich real cream

[img:640:480:5725fb3e3d]http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/2270/pic0dq.jpg[/img:5725fb3e3d]

A Rich Cream arty pic

[img:640:480:5725fb3e3d]http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/113/pic4ne.jpg[/img:5725fb3e3d]

After scrapping round the edges of the scone I started to remove the think whipped creamy layer from the sultana encrusted snack, imagine my glee and relief when I discovered this

[img:640:480:5725fb3e3d]http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/4746/pic1vv.jpg[/img:5725fb3e3d]

Deep thick strawberry conserve, thank God I hadnt been sold a ringer! The texture was thick and a deep red colour, it didnt need changing, Decided to mix it in to the cream for a level spread.

I made a few other minor improvements, replaced lost sultana from base of said scone, and have dabbed the scones roof in the caster sugar that had dropped off in transit, no pics I am afraid, now we have the finished article

Perfection huh..............

Well all is not well....................

Unfortunatly.........................

On the first trip out I had a rather bad accident.............

All that time and effort ruined, some may call it a customization, but to me the end of the world.

Great project!!

now seeing as you are a bit of an expert in this field mals, could you tell me how to get the jam back into my jammy doughnut after said jammy doughnut got accidently squashed and released all the jam from the now jamless dougnut into the Jammy but now Jamless Doughnut paper bag carrying device?

OK OK

You need to pop down to Halfords to get a jam injection tool, and a caster sugar spray gun, due to loss of topping, Insert said Jam Injection Tool into non jammy dounut, causing an influx of jam to enter the sweet snack, the non-jammy jammy dounut will then increase in jamminess, and swell. keep your eyes an the Jam injection Tool jam gauge as over filling will end in Jam explosion and a jamming of the jam injection tool. But under Jamming will result in disappointment and non satisfactory morsal fulfilment. Once the now jammy jam dounut is fully jammed with jam, then pour the sugar in the spray gun and hoof it out over the jammy jam dounut. Once covered clean your tool sit back and admire your handiwork
